Terms and Conditions for Ideometrics

1. Introduction

By signing up for the Ideometrics, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Ideometrics is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data Collection and Processing

Personal Data Collected:

• Name (first & last)
• Email Address
• Occupation (optional)
• Organisation you work for (if applicable)
• Country of residence

Additional Data Collected:

• Your selections and scoring of questions as part of the CHNRI scoring procedure, including changes to your scores over time.

Purpose of Data Collection:

• To create and maintain user accounts on Ideometrics for CHNRI scoring.
• To collect scoring data for research questions per question and criteria for each user.
• To export aggregated data to associated Universities for research purposes.

Use of Cookies:

• Cookies are used to track login sessions and enhance security.
• Cookies expire and are deleted after 6 hours of inactivity.
• No cookies are used for marketing or tracking beyond login authentication.

3. Data Handling and Protection

Data Storage:

• Personal data is stored in an encrypted SQL database on Google Cloud (GCP).
• Data is only accessible to Ideometrics and is not shared with external companies, including Google.

Data Transfer:

• Aggregated data will be transferred securely to the University of Edinburgh for research purposes.
• Data will be extracted in CSV format and transferred via secure email, then stored in an encrypted OneDrive.

Data Deletion:

• Users can request deletion of their personal data at any time.
• Data will be removed when it is no longer necessary for the outlined purposes.
• Upon completion of the exercise, data will be deleted unless users have specifically consented to retain their accounts.

4. Withdrawal of Consent

• You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
• To request withdrawal or for inquiries regarding your data, please contact us.

5. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for an account on the Ideometrics, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
